The last two nights I've bounced back and then some. I won 3 more $12 180s and got 2nd in another, and as you can see from the screenshot I got 2nd in a $33 MTT after playing late into the night and into Christmas morning.
There weren't really too many interesting hands; for the most part I just played a solid game, coolered a bunch of people, and had several people gift me their stacks, and subsequently I had a top 5 stack for basically the entire tournament. It's always nice to run that good.
When it got heads up I was down over 2 to 1 in chips, but I chipped away at him and took a small chip lead. On the deciding hand, I opened the button with A7s with 22 BB effective stacks and my opponent 3-bet me. He had been aggressive and since I'd been raising pretty much every button I figured he was playing back with a very wide range and decided to go with it. Unfortunately he had AJs. I flopped a flush draw but couldnt get there, and I busted a few hands later.
A win would definitely have been nice, but I'm very happy with how I played. I'm also happy with the 458 TLB points that 2nd place finish got me. In the last two days I've catapulted from 70th to 20th on the monthly leaderboard, so I'm looking good to make the top 100.
Merry Christmas and thanks for reading,
George

Nice run. I was watching you for a bit, but wasn't up late enough to see the final table. Top 100 looks very do-able, knock on wood.
i predict you ship the mirrion
